Resize social ads without cropping guesswork
A practical guide to generating Instagram, TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn and IAB still sizes from one approved master asset.
Feed, story and reel cover are three compositions, not three crops of the same JPEG. Each ratio needs its own canvas — so Anyratio generates the extra edges instead of chopping into the subject.
The sizes that actually ship
- Meta feed — 1080 × 1080 and 1080 × 1350, RGB
- Meta Stories / Reels — 1080 × 1920, 9:16 still (video export is on the roadmap)
- LinkedIn — 1200 × 627 landscape, plus square and 4:5
- YouTube — 1920 × 1080 cover and 1280 × 720 thumbnail
- IAB display — 300 × 250, 970 × 250 and 728 × 90 as stills
- Newsletter header — 1200 × 400
- Print — centimetres at 300 dpi (RGB); finish CMYK and bleed in your press tools if the printer asks
Getting a clean set on the first run
Give the model something to work with: a high-resolution file with a little room around the subject beats a tight crop every time. Extreme ratios — a 728 × 90 from a portrait master, for instance — are the hardest ask, so plan on a second take there. Regenerating one size gives you another version next to the first, and you decide which one goes in the ZIP; a size that fails outright is refunded automatically.
The specimen index is the checklist. Generate the set in one pass, download the ZIP, and publish from the tools you already use.
